Hey, party people! This week, we're still basking in the glow of the Miles for Migraine event at Bushnell Park. This is our 6th consecutive year working this event. It was truly inspiring to see so many people come together for such a great cause. We were there, doing our thing, providing the essentials. You know, the stuff that keeps a large gathering from devolving into total chaos.

But let me tell you, even at a charity walk, you see things. Things you can't unsee.

Like the guy who casually strolled up to Taylor (no not THAT Taylor) and asked "Hey, got one of those purple hats for me?". I don't know who he thought we were, but it genuinely wasn't our stuff. And when we gently explained that, he just kept saying, "Are you sure? It says 'Party!' right there!" Sir, I admire your enthusiasm, but... no.

Or the intense staring contest that broke out between two volunteers over a box of paperclips. It went on for a solid five minutes. No words, just pure, unadulterated staring. I started to get worried. Should I intervene? Was this some kind of migraine-related symptom I wasn't aware of?

Anyway, despite the occasional weirdness, (most likely our fault) the event was a huge success! We were proud to provide:

  • Tents: Providing a comfortable space for participants and volunteers.

  • Tables & Chairs: For registration, information booths, and a place to relax and connect (and maybe practice your intense staring).

  • And of course, that Party Rental Place sparkle! (Even if it doesn't cover hats)

But more than just providing equipment, we were there to show our support for the migraine community. Migraine is more than "just a headache." It's a serious neurological disease that affects millions, and Miles for Migraine is making a real difference in raising awareness and funding research.

We want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who participated, volunteered, and donated. Your energy and passion were contagious! Even the purple hat guy, in his own unique way.
